No Limit Texas Holdem Tourney Online

I am going to play in my very first nl holdem online tourney. I have done very well in limit poker, but have a lot to learn when it comes to bet sizing. Is there any specific rule of thumb as to how to bet the pot, or any general concept that I can build off of? I think i understand the abc's of starting poker hands.

Hm, it's really very difficult to give some hard and fast rules, because every situation is so different. But I am sure that, if you have no idea how much to bet, betting about 2/3 of the pot is rarely completely wrong.
